Ed Hardy is an American Tattoo Artist and lives in Southern California.  He attended the San Francisco Art Institute and graduated with a Bachlor of Fine Arts.  Through his association with Sailer Jerry, Ed Hardy was able to study tattooing in Japan in 1973 with the Japanese classical tattoo master Horidide.

In 2002 Ed Hardy started licensing his artwork for a line of clothing.  Ever since then more and more products are being licensed with his artwork.
